Set in the midst of some of the most fascinating and beautiful landscaped gardens in the country, the Birmingham Botanical Gardens are a highly prestigious and unique location: the perfect setting for lunches, dinners, dinner dances and cocktail parties.

Originally created by John Claudius Loudon, a formidable 19th century Scottish landscape architect, the acres of lush greenery – and the equally intriguing Glass Houses with their rich array of exotic palms and plants – lend an air of peace and tranquillity seldom found in other venues.

The Botanical Gardens provide unparallel versatility, offering the choice of three distinctive venues for your event. The Garden Suite, Terrace Suite and the renowned Loudon Suite – which hosted the G8 Summit social dinner – all provide individual areas which can be tailored to any event.

Reflecting the elegance of this prestigious location, our reputation for excellence has been achieved through providing clients with quality and flexibility. Our extensive range of tailor made menus provides clients with the widest choice, ranging from the finest English cuisine through to a full Japanese banquet.

You can now hold both your civil wedding ceremony and reception at the Gardens. Each of our three suites are approved by the Birmingham Registry Office for civil ceremonies. Further information can be obtained from our Marriage Representative or Marriage Deputies.
